Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Wu has been working on ion mobility spectrometry and mass spectrometry related technology, product and business development for over 20 years. Before founding Excellims, he was employed at GE Security, where he worked closely with many government agencies domestically and internationally providing technical solutions; he also managed a team to directly support business development and sales activities. Later as the research leader for GE Security's chem/bio and explosives detection business, he was responsible for many government funded and GE’s internal programs to support the business growth. Dr. Wu also served as mass spectrometry software manager at Bruker Daltonics Inc. and computer systems engineer at NCR Ltd. He has both Ph.D. and MS degrees in Chemistry from Washington State University, an MS in Computer Science also from Washington State University, and an MS in Chemical Engineering from Yokohama National University. Dr. Wu has authored more than 50 peer reviewed papers and patents/patent applications in ion mobility spectrometry and mass spectrometry field.
Chairman & Co-founder
Mr. Eisenbraun has been a consultant to ICx and other companies in Homeland Security Sales and Marketing before taking on his current role as a founder and Chairman of Excellims Corporation. Mr. Eisenbraun also served as vice president of sales, marketing and service for Ion Track Instruments through the acquisition by General Electric. At Ion Track, Mr. Eisenbraun built a worldwide sales, program management, and service organization and worked with many US Government customers. Previously, Mr. Eisenbraun served as general manager, worldwide sales for IHRDC, product manager for Ruska Instrument Corporation, Far East laboratory manager in Singapore for Flopetrol Schlumberger, and Research Petro Physicist at Core Labs. He earned a BS in geology from Wheaton College and holds an MA in geochemistry from the University of Texas.
Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Osgood has over 22 years of experience in the scientific instrument field. Before joining Excellims he worked as a product development project manager at Bruker Daltonics. While at Bruker Mr. Osgood successfully brought several lines of bench top MALDI-TOF mass spectrometers to market. In addition to team leadership Mr. Osgood brings specific technical expertise in instrument control system design, industrial design and product packaging, compliance, high voltage systems design and vacuum system design. Mr. Osgood holds over 6 patents related to the design and construction of ion mobility and mass spectrometers. He received his BS in Physics from the University of New Hampshire.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Stone joined Excellims in July 2014. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Liberty Tree Advisors, LLC, a boutique consulting and investment banking firm that helps emerging life sciences companies grow. Previously, he was a partner at Flagship Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on creating, financing, and building innovative companies in the Life Science and Technology sectors. A veteran of Wall Street, David followed the Biotechnology sector for nearly ten years at Cowen & Company, where he built a highly regarded research and investment banking practice. David began his career in biotechnology in 1983 as a Project Manager and later Communications Director at Genetics Institute a leading biotechnology company later acquired by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. He earned a B.S. in Microbiology from Colorado State University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
